This is My 1960 Hercules Corvette. 1 Owner from New and Stayed in the Same Family since it Purchase in 1960! Here are the Pictures of the Bike from the For Sale Advert on Icenicam. Sadly It was missing a Rear Wheel. After a Small Trip to Cambridge and Money Changing hands the Corvette was Mine. I had Two Mobylette Wheels from a Job lot of NSU Quickly Spares my Dad bought. Here is a Picture of the Bike at Home with the Mobylette Rear Wheel Trial Fitted. Almost a Year on and my Hercules Corrvette is Nearly Ready for the Road! The Engine had broken a Piston Ring and Scored the Bore but not Badly, Mopedland had new Rings in Stock! The Rear Wheel Fitted a Treat, Only Problem is the Rear Sprocket on a Standard Corvette is 54 Teeth? Which Mobylette only Do a 48! Mark Daniels Managed to Weld a New Front Brake Plate Stop on the Front Suspension to Allow the Mobylette front Wheel to be Used. Im having Trouble getting the Correct Drive Belt at the Moment... Im Awaiting Gurtner Carburettor Parts from Ebay France, as Im going to Attempt to make it Go Faster by Fitting a Gurtner AR13, I need a Make a Inlet Manifold First! Martin.

I thought I better update this post! After the crankcase gasket failed I took the Corvette off the road. In 2022 a friend called to ask if my Corvette was available because 2 other Corvette's where going to attend the East Anglian Run! A mad late night before the run and the engine was rebuilt and the Corvette was back on the road. East Anglian Run 2022 Coprolite Run 2022 I didn't manage to attend many runs in 2023, they all seemed to clash with holidays! I did try and attend the Teenage Tantrum Run but a broken throttle cable stopped that and let me stranded 20 miles from home, I screwed the idle screw right in and manage to limp back!! Copdock Motorcycle Show 2023 Mince Pie Run 2024 Martin.
